It all begins with an idea.

In 2018 a few friends had the idea to create a community space which is accessible for everyone, regardless of background or ability.

The aim was to create an opportunity for social interaction for residents within the Springfields and Trent Vale area who don’t want to join toddler or sport groups.

Offering regular meetings just for a brew and a chat, various activities for all ages and a community meal once a week were the start. However, quickly we noticed that people from all areas of Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle under Lyme, even from Stone enjoyed attending. This was the indication that we are doing the right thing and we started growing to a point where we decided to register for charity status.

Over the last 5 years we met and supported many wonderful people. The difference we make by lifting people's spirits in difficult times, creating a community spirit and sense of belonging, helping people who do not normally access services because we make them feel comfortable is much needed. We actively encourage everyone that it is ok to ask for help and to reach out if needed.

We intent to ensure everyone feel like a confident, valued member of society.

In 2021 we became a fully registered charity and keep growing ever since. Our services are not restricted to any specific area. In spring 2022 we started expanding into the Staffordshire Moorlands to support families.
