Paula the Puppy

Paula is an assistance dog and will happily help children and adults likewise to overcome their fear of dogs. She already proved her skills by supporting one of our toddlers who is autistic, as visitor in distress, the daughter of one of our volunteers and one student from regent college who both were scared of dogs and now takes Paula for a regular walk. She also had a ‘sleepover’ at one of our staff and when the baby fell ill, Paula alarmed the parents that something is wrong with the baby. After a trip to A&E, it turned out the baby had breathing issues due to croup.

She also spots often the emotions of humans and uses her gentle nature and her cuteness to support the individual.
